I felt surreal that we actually had spent almost one year, passing through classes, and pushed ourselves to our limit.

I started my day by staying grounded. It felt kind of like our daily routine. I came to have lunch in the cafeteria. We gossiped about silly things. Mikko, Bee, Burak, Mohammad, and I played kabul like the usual. I went to visit my supervisors to talk which made me feel warm even before the ceremony (they are very kind!).

Recap of 2025

First time on setting goals

I have been archiving daily logs since 2020. However, I must have been inspired and determined that I wrote new year resolutions to start 2025:

Apply to ICTP postgraduate diploma programme

Prioritize my work at W+B (I had been working at that company for six months), to learn as much as I can

Sleep for at least six hours on normal days

Run at least twice a week with one long run

Research for DIY gender-affirming care (aim for low-dose testosterone therapy, due date: next birthday)

Did I do all of them? Unsurprisingly no. However, the first two were really the most important and I am glad I gave my best for both. The rest of the year turned great mainly because of it. As I am going through 2026, the rest of the goals are still relevant. I mentioned additional goals that are ever-lasting:
