Pretty sure it was a normal day during high school, but somehow I was locked outside of my house when I went back. My family was away and perhaps forgot that I was coming back on my own unexpectedly… so I just sat and waited outside.

Our family house was just across the community garden. I sat by the bench, looked at the scorching sun and the trees surrounding me.

Since 2023 until now (2026), I have been using the negative of this piece as my phone wallpaper.

The Indonesian phrase “dua jam di bawah matahari” translates to “two hours under the sun.”
