While I was dreading and counting my days to move to Trieste, Rubio was the first person who contacted me. He was a senior and we didn’t have the chance to know each other during our undergraduate study. However, I had known that he had been staying in Trieste to pursue his PhD after the diploma program. In short, his words were kind and I knew I didn’t have to worry to be my own trueself there. At least, I knew I had a safe space with him.

My favorite memories with him would be playing cards at his apartment (though he and William would easily beat me up). It was nice to meet another person who’s passionate on communicating math to public

For his drawing, I thought of fishes so it extends to anything under the sea. I definitely had so much fun drawing this, the filler fishes were a fantastic choice.
