Angel is my life-long and childhood friends. We were probably in the same orbit since second year of middle school, but we realized that we shared the same frequency towards the end of that era. It was the talk between purpose, life, and art (and BTS, the iconic Korean boyband and probably the only one I truly followed because of them) that made me feel alive since then. Both Angel and Cla were my first safe space. I was very lucky to find the most understanding people as the first place to confide in.

They were the real artist in my life when I was surrounded by mathematicians, physicists, and engineers. Looking back, they were my foremost reason in keeping touch with my creative pursuit, both in drawing and writing. Show some love to their artwork here!

The Indonesian phrase “hidup bukan tentang angka” translates to “life is not about numbers.”

I wrote that phrase as an all-time reminder, especially through our demanding school work. Life is not about numbers: grades, achievements, and followers.
